XYZ Calibration Cube - 4mm OD tube cutting jig
thingiverse
I keep creating these XYZ cubes for calibration tests after changes, but they don't do much to help me. I decided it was time to make a bowden tube cutting jig instead. As everyone should know by now, when the tube is inserted into the hotend or nozzle, it must be at a perfect 90-degree angle to avoid potential filament jams. To use this jig, simply insert the tube through the hole past the cutting point and slide a thin penknife into the slot from the Z face. Cut the tube quickly, and if your knife is sharp, the cut area should be perfectly at right angle. This bowden tube cutting jig not only helps with calibration cubes but also serves as a useful tool in its own right.
