This is a simple calibration test cube for your 3D printer with X, Y & Z written on the axis. To further calibrate your 3D printer, print one out and measure this model's dimensions against the expected dimensions. Once done, you can adjust your Steps per mm in your printers firmware if your 3D printer allows it. Let's break down the calculation: - e = expected dimension - o = observed dimension - s = current number of steps per mm The new formula is: (e/o) x s = your new number of steps per mm. To create this cube, we used a guide on making a 3D printer calibration cube using Freecad at https://www.idig3dprinting.co.uk/news/how-to-guides/create-a-3d-printer-calibration-cube-in-freecad/. Why not try designing one yourself? We designed ours using that same guide. For details on our design process, check out our post on the subject at https://www.idig3dprinting.co.uk/news/how-to-guides/create-a-3d-printer-calibration-cube-in-freecad/.
