TL;DRA print in place kinetic sculpture, no tools, no glue, no assembly at all, just print and play.  Collectionexercise, CAD MotivationThe idea to create a “print in place” kinetic model. Most models i found needed to be assembled but i like the idea of print in place very much, so i made this one. This is a great Trophy for anything. Use the hex baseplate to add text with prusaslicer.        Let's get startedIf in doubt print the harp 120 bridging test first. We need to bridge nearly 50 mm. Doing this less than 10 minutes test before wasting filament and hours of printing time is always a good idea. While that works well you can print any of the 3 versions. The differences between the versions is the distance, the freedom, the tolerance between the rotating sticks. Some filament needs more than others.   AttributionThe inspiration for this sculpture was the woodwork of Davic C. Roy in 1975.© yahbluez Can I sell copies of this?Yes!
