Moved over from Takerbot's Thingiverse, the "Z-mover" can also move the thing inside and back forth, making it useful for a pen. It can also be used to move paddles for a rowing boat model. Video: The software from the YouTube video is available at http://www.askrprojects.net/additional/xyzarm.zip You will need: - an Arduino or Chipkit-Max32 (or any compatible) - Processing (PC-control): http://processing.org/ - G4P library for Processing: http://www.lagers.org.uk/g4p/index.html The fixture is only provided as an example and was constructed to hold an 11mm tube. You will need to create your own custom fixtures. What to do: 1. Print the XYArm part. 2. Mount the 2 servos with small metal screws. 3. Create your own fixture: - 0° (servo, top) - 90° (servo, right) - 225° (rubber band, lower left) Attach the fixture to the servos with sewing cotton and fix it with super glue. BOM: - 1 x printed part, XYArm (optional: Z-mover) - 1 x missing fixture (created by you) - 2 x 8mm servo - 4 x small metal screw - 2 x rubber band - 2 x 10cm sewing cotton - 4 x drop of superglue - 2 x 5mm screw for mounting - 1 x 5mm screw for Z-arm
