XY Table
thingiverse
My brother required sensors and equipment to navigate over a microtiter plate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microtiter_plate). This creation might not be useful for everyone else, but I'll share it in case anyone is interested. I also added the Sketchup model for any missing parts on the STL files, so use that to extract components. I won't provide a full assembly description, but you can refer to this post at LMR (http://letsmakerobots.com/node/31381) for more details and a video. UPDATE: I recently got information about the 28BYJ-48 steppers used in this project, which have accuracy issues. Therefore, those building sub-mm accurate XY tables should find alternative stepper motors. Here's the link to the information (http://arduino.cc/forum/index.php/topic,71964.0.html).
With this file you will be able to print XY Table with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on XY Table.
