I'm currently constructing a Hypercube and that's why I swapped out the XY Idler because it seemed like a vulnerable part when tightening the belts. I also incorporated the 8mm shaft mount into my design. The 8mm shaft mount is a snug "clip" fit, requiring no screws - I've uninstalled and reinstalled the 8mm CF53 hardened rods about five times now and the mount remains solid. Two versions of the part exist, differing only in appearance. One has a polished edge, while the other has an edge to it. I printed the one with the edge (the one featured in the photo) since it matched my overall design aesthetic.
