In a recent update to the Motedis QR 500 3D printer's carriage, its size has been increased for added stability due to further apart bearings. A fan mount is also included for superior PLA print quality. The fan and adaptor fit snugly into the "lagerblock" hole, requiring no glue for assembly if printed correctly. To demonstrate the difference in print quality, three FROG tests were conducted: one without a fan, another with a large printer frame fan, and finally, with the new carriage equipped with a radial fan. The latter produced the best results. STL files are named "drucken" with slight hole widening due to a 0.5mm shrinkage during printing on the specific printer.
