I'm building a 4-piece birdseed column for a 100mm Plexiglas tube. The Plexiglas tube can be any height, but the minimum should be around 150 mm; I've used a 300 mm tube in my design. Most of the surface area is taken up by the rain protection, which measures about 275x275mm. My birdseed column is filled with sunflower seeds and peanut crack. There's a 36mm hole at the bottom plate that fits perfectly onto a 25mm bar adapter. The adapter screws into the floor using an M6 screw and nut; for attaching the rod, I've drilled two 5mm holes and used 4.8mm stainless steel screws. The Plexiglas tube is also secured to the floor with two M6 screws, with nuts inserted from inside and below. The floor should be printed with a carrier material, while the lid isn't necessarily required. I made some changes to the design on October 18th. I removed the hole for screwing in the adapter and instead glued it into place. I also added a groove to the bottom plate and the lid that fits a 2mm gasket, as well as recesses in the rain protection for seals.
