WORK-IN-PROGRESS: I still need to finalize my own version before sharing it with others. :)\r\n\r\nA modification of the Hero Me duct base tailored specifically for the XVICO Pioneer (also known as the XVICO X3?). This design is simply a reworked version of the Hero Me Gen 2 base, adapted to fit seamlessly on the XVICO X-axis carriage plate. It's designed to utilize the standard Hero Me Gen 2 ducts.\r\n\r\nI've had to learn how to use TinkerCad in order to remix this, so it may be best to wait for this design (and my skills) to mature a bit before attempting to print it yourself. Here's the [TinkerCad link](https://www.tinkercad.com/things/aldm2YvVVAy).\r\n\r\nMy machine features several modifications compared to a standard printer:\r\n* A Micro Swiss Ender 3 all-metal hotend (different from the stock XVICO hotend, and significantly shorter.)\r\n* The X-axis limit switch is spaced out about 16mm from the gantry frame to prevent the belt zip-tie from triggering the switch.\r\n* A generic 3mm aluminum RepRap bed heater plate (currently not being used for heat; it serves as a base for the glass).\r\n* A generic 3mm glass bed.\r\n* The BigTreeTech SKR Mini E3 V1.2 board & TFT24 V1.1 screen.\r\n\r\nTo attach this duct base to the XVico carriage plate, you will need the following:\r\n* 2x M4 x 6mm button-head cap screws\r\n* 2x M3 x 6mm button-head cap screws (optional)\r\n* 2x M3 x 25mm flat-head bolts. These replace the M3 x 16mm ones that came with the Micro-Swiss hotend.\r\n\r\nI abandoned the stock XVICO bed because its high sides interfered with part cooling ducts of any kind. The big ducts in the Hero Me system won't even begin to fit.\r\n\r\nI switched to the SKR board due to the quiet stepper drivers and to gain access to a modern, configurable Marlin instead of the outdated Marlin included with the XVico board. I need to adjust the Y-home position about 40mm forward so that the nozzle actually touches glass, and this isn't configurable in the stock firmware.\r\n\r\nMost recent update: 2020-03-07 - shifted hotend down 1mm for more clearance between duct and print. Also made clearance for bottom bolt on XVico backplate.
