Firmware changes: - either change in firmware files and reflash, or connect to octoprint/pronterface terminal and use gcode below - Set Z steps per unit to 2040 (M92 Z2040)(this may be different if you're using different setting to start with, which are dependant on the microstepping settings for your stepper driver, if things are off try to double this value) - Set Z max speed to 1.67 (M203 Z1.67) - Save to eeprom (M500) Parts required: - 2x ~ 800mm GT2 Belt (not measured - buy 2m) Top Belt tensioner: - 2x 25mm M3 bolt (or longer) - 4x Flanged idler pulleys (same as ones used for belt on Y axis) Geared Motor Mount: - 2x 51:1 planetary stepper motor (https://www.amazon.co.uk/51-Planetary-Gearbox-Precision-STEPPERONLINE/dp/B00QEVLDVO/) - 8x 10mm M3 bolt + nuts (bolts can be taken from existing assembly - 2x 8mm Bore 20T Pulley Belt Anchors: - All bolts and nuts can be taken from the threaded rod nut
