I'm creating a sleek, super-lightweight quadcopter using robust wooden arms up to three-quarters inch in width. It features a sturdy mounting pad compatible with any KK2 board and offers extensive customization options for components and arms. This quad is designed to be effortless and quick to repair. To top it off, I've included the source files, inviting you to dive in and get creative! Watch how this marvel comes together in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkbj6Hpqcgw&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmMzp0CwGaE&feature=youtu.be Revised 2-22-15 Noteworthy Upgrades: A remarkably lightened frame (200g reduction) --- Instructions First, print four sets of landing gear and top plates, all with an optimal configuration for performance. For top plates, I employed PLA at a 20% infill ratio; in contrast, the motor mounts benefited from ABS at a more substantial 50% infill ratio. Securely attach motors to the frame using M3x20 bolts. Motor mounts should then be carefully attached to the wooden arms via TIGHTLY fastened zip ties, ideally secured with a 7mm diameter M3 washer. As I tested with a combination of 10 inch arms and 1/2 inch wood components weighing just over 900g with an integrated AUW, keep experimenting and adjusting until you achieve the perfect harmony between flight performance and aesthetics. My components for this marvel originated from leading sources such as HobbyKing and BuddyRc for major parts, complemented by robust M3 fasteners sourced expertly from Amazon's diverse offerings
