XT60 heat plate mount for strain relief

This custom holder securely fastens an XT60 connector to my printer's heated bed, ensuring that wires connected to solder pads are not strained by being pulled on and making it easy to remove the heated bed for maintenance or repairs. I chose an XT60 connector, which can handle significantly more current than is required for these wires to reach the heated bed. I carefully designed this plastic mounting system to firmly hold the XT60 connector in place using a screw hole located between the solder pads on the heated bed. The screws visible in photos are longer than necessary; I will correct this by using my Dremel tool and cutoff wheel to shorten them. The ideal length would be two 12mm and one 7mm M3 screws, but since I didn't have those available, I used longer ones that I will trim down. As initially printed, the XT60 connector had a slightly too-tight fit. Rather than adjusting the dimensions in Solidworks to fix this issue, I simply tweaked the outer wall offset by a small amount to achieve a better fit. This adjustment was made using Cura with a -.12mm perimeter "horizontal expansion." For anyone who wants to modify or improve this design, I have included the Solidworks source files. Additionally, I have recently added STEP file versions of these two parts. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Wanhao Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 V2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 50% Notes: Minimal infill is required. I printed this design in PETG at 245 C with a speed of 25mm/s using the specified settings.
