XT60 + Capacitor (10mm) mount

This one fits a 10mm diameter low ESR capacitor perfectly. I used a 1000 µF @25V unit that measures 21 mm in length, which worked flawlessly. Check out the pictures for step-by-step installation instructions. To begin with, perform a "dry-fit" before soldering to ensure everything is properly aligned. Next, solder the XT60 and capacitor together, leaving some space for easy assembly. Then, slide the entire unit into its final position. Due to its length, you can fill the back of the XT60 with hot glue to provide insulation - a detail not shown in the photo.
