XT60 battery plug cover for semi-flexible material (Bioflex - REAL)
thingiverse
XT60 battery caps printed with regular filament wear out after a while and no longer fit snugly because they become too loose. This was precisely why I created an alternative in the first place. The second motivation behind my design is that numerous XT60 connectors exist, which despite being supposedly identical, have varying sizes. To address this issue, I designed a cap that can accommodate all of them. In order to achieve this versatility, the inside pins are drafted at a slight angle of 1 degree, while the primary holding feature remains the outside edge, which is also drafted at a gentle slope of 2 degrees. Fortunately, my design has proven effective on most of my batteries, with only a few instances where it may become slightly too tight on battery connectors known to have slightly larger dimensions, and conversely, it holds securely even on those that seem slightly undersized.
