Quantum's XT Fin Stabilizer System Extends Optimal Performance for Ships at Zero Speed and Underway. The Quantum XT extendable fin stabilizer system provides superior stabilizer performance both at Zero Speed and underway through fin variations that adapt to changing conditions. Designed with a retractable foil, the XT fin stabilizer extends its effective area for enhanced Zero Speed stabilizer performance by deploying out of its pocket. For underway operations, the foil remains retracted within a pocket in the XT stabilizer fin, reducing total exposed ship stabilizer fin area and minimizing appendage drag. By retracting the foil, Quantum's XT fin stabilizer system reduces overall outreach and maintains optimal performance under all conditions.
