XT-60 Dust Cap/Charge Indicator

Simple yet effective! This is an XT-60 battery connector dust cap, also capable of serving as a charge indicator when printed in two distinct colors. I prefer using red to signify depleted batteries and green for fully charged ones. These can be easily printed within four to five minutes, consuming minimal material. As a result, they are definitely worth incorporating in my opinion. Since PLA has a relatively low shrinkage rate, that is the filament I choose to print with. If you decide to use ABS, however, it's best to enlarge the size to compensate for any potential shrinkage issues, as it may otherwise fail to fit properly on your connectors. Standard printing with PLA results in an ideal fit without requiring adjustments. I opt for a layer height of 0.2mm and infill density of 15%, though varying settings do not significantly impact the print. This particular design does not necessitate extensive infill due to its unique nature.
