A parametric bit tool holder with a free rolling handle, currently sized for 7 mm bit extension. The slot has a slightly angled grip inside the socket that applies pressure to the shaft in order to keep it firmly secure.

The bottom part of the handle cover requires support, the most pain free method I found was to use a support enforcer and size it for the from the top part of the grip to the bottom part of the handle. . The main point for support is to not touch the grip since it leaves a bad finish. You can try to minimize the effect by changing the support pattern spacing to a lower value or you can use the
snug
support style from prusa/superslicer or your preferred slicer equivalent.

After the print is finished I would twist the handle free of the support and use a hobby knife/small chisel to remove the support material.

I also used 3 walls and 15% infill, larger prints handled fine but for a print with smaller radius values than the default ones I would increase the number of walls and support.

Sometimes the layer seams would be in the way of the handle so there were some bumps but this seemed completely random as other prints had quite smooth rolling motion. I didn't figure out what the best seam location would be so I used random.

In openscad the variables define the lengths of the object:

In OpenSCAD use F5 to preview changes and F6 to render the result (this should be done once you are done with the changes since it takes a while to render). Once the rendering process is done you can export the model with F7.

Printed out of silver PLA and 0.16 layer height and 0.4 nozzle on my FLSUN QQ-s Pro.
