The XRD sample holder is specifically designed for use with the STADI P COMBI diffractometer, which was developed by STOE. It's a powder diffractometer capable of high-throughput and combinatorial measurements in transmission geometry. The STADI P COMBI delivers top-notch efficiency combined with all the advantages offered by the STADI P system. The XRD sample holder has been crafted on AutoCAD software and manufactured using the Stratasys Dimension 1200 es 3D printer. To meet one of the critical requirements, the polymer material from which the plate is made must not react to the X-ray beam. Meeting this restriction has two key objectives: first, it prevents the sample holder from breaking apart; second, it avoids incorrect readings when measuring a sample. The ideal material should be extremely hard and resistant to abrasion even after extended use. To achieve these goals, the sample holder was printed with ABS, which is incredibly rigid and also non-crystalline. As a result, it won't interfere with the X-ray beam.
