Bifacial End Blade. Surface collected from destroyed area of XPM-098. SR08-01 Surface Col #3\nXPM-098 is a multicomponent site located on low terrace along Sapsuk River, Alaska Peninsula. This region boasts one of the earliest sites with evidence of salmon processing. Its remains show similarities to Arctic Small Tool Tradition before 3000 BCE, and technologies clearly related to Ocean Bay Tradition and Sanak Island between 2600 and 2000 BCE. A small occupation dating back to about 200 BCE displays similarities with Adamagan Site.\nOriginal digitizing work completed at IVL at Id St Univ, followed by subsequent processing at Global Digital Heritage. Artifacts were scanned using either Faro Edge Arm or Minolta Vivid 9i. Processing took place in Geomagic or Polyworks.
