XOR-able objects
thingiverse
By combining two STL files using OpenSCAD's positive difference, you can create an item with a pattern like checked, striped or spotted (including gingham for picnics) in two colors. Utilize this technique with a two-color Candystruder acknowledged by CandyFab. For a delicious twist, consider milk and white chocolate designs. Additionally, tartan patterns are available for those who thought it was a joke. To achieve this, first import both STL files (one prepared earlier and the other XOR) and use convexity=15 for better results. Then, create a positive difference by using import_stl() function twice. Export the STL file of the positive difference result. Next, repeat the process but with an intersection() instead of a positive difference. This will create the support (or second color) design. Finally, export this STL file. Afterward, place both STL files in a medium temperature twin 3D printer until they reach a golden brown finish.
With this file you will be able to print XOR-able objects with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on XOR-able objects.
