XMAX Starry Tool (Pokey Stick) Attachment
thingiverse
I got fed up with the fact that there's no straightforward way to bring the awkward stick ("tool") along with the convenient heater. This holder attaches itself to the bottom of the device, allowing you to "click" the stick into place securely. The model has been precision-adjusted to fit the real-world object as tightly as possible, while still allowing you to remove it when you need to replace the battery. If it's too loose, I recommend simply placing some electric tape or similar material inside the print to secure it in place. Included are: - A Blender file with multiple revisions (ideal size vs real-world size, etc) - An STL file of the size-fit version Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the print settings. However, I can tell you that I printed this with PLA on a Prusa i3 mk3. The print settings were probably along these lines: 0.10mm layer height, no supports, 20% infill. You want reasonably small layers as the precision is quite high on the "click" part.
