Xmas Tree Vase 3D print model

I designed my own Christmas decoration in the shape of a tree look alike. You can put a light source inside it or use it as a vase by ensuring the source is not hot. Usage of any models from 3DParts4U will be entirely at your own risk. To confirm, I printed two trees with different scales. The first was a tree scaled down to a size of 37.5%, which resulted in walls measuring 1.2mm thick. I also printed another tree, scaled down to a size of 25%, yielding walls that measured 0.8mm thick. For those print settings, I utilized the following configuration on Simplify3D: Felix PLA filament Print speed set at 3600mm/minute or 60mm/second Hotend temperature kept constant at 185°C and bed maintained at 55°C. Infill layer thickness was set at 250 micron. For surface finishes, three bottom layers were utilized with two outermost layers employed. During the print job, the fan speed was boosted to 100%. I also deployed a brass nozzle of diameter 0.35mm. Extrusion width set at 0.40mm for an optimized print. To ensure minimal risk, retraction amount was increased by a single millimeter. Additionally, I adjusted the extrusion multiplier to maintain consistent print speed while minimizing coasting with just 0.30mm. These are some additional size configurations that might prove valuable in various print settings. I did upload an optional wall thickness option at 100%, giving the structure a solid wall thickness of 3.2mm, while also incorporating the FreeCAD file so you can easily scale it and adjust other parameters according to your needs.
