I needed some modern and sophisticated Christmas decorations in a hurry, but I also wanted them to be quick and easy to print - after all, one set of nine stars only takes fifty minutes to print. Unleash your inner designer: with basic knowledge of Blender, you can easily create your own stunning shapes using the attached Blend file, as explained in this video. Even the Make logo can be transformed into a beautiful star. The hooks can slide along the hangers until they reach the perfect equilibrium point. Printing at 0.2mm layer height, with a Zpause at 0.45mm to change the filament color, yields the best results. You can also print with glow-in-the-dark filament for an even more striking effect. A glass bed produces a superior finish with a very shiny surface and eliminates warping problems.
