This intricately designed Xmas star is crafted to be effortlessly printed and customized using a FDM 3D printer's capabilities. Every component appears to defy gravity, as if suspended in mid-air by magic. Depending on the viewing angle, intricate cut lines become visible, adding an extra layer of visual interest. Each of the five star parts and five connecting pieces can be separately printed, allowing users to easily swap out colors for a unique look. The model also presents a fun puzzle challenge when assembling the various components together. In this particular example, white filament was used for the star's base, while golden paint added a touch of luxury. The clear filament used for the connecting pieces gives them a transparent, almost ethereal quality. This Xmas star was printed on an Ultimaker 2+ using nGen colorFabb filaments, and its clever design means that no glue is required to assemble the model.
