Xmas Candle Light with lithophane - photo
thingiverse
Christmas Candle Light ================ I created this project based on a modified ambiance light with a realistic flame and low-consumption RGB LED in the candle body. The candle body has your chosen photo as a lithophane, which you can see when the candle is turned on. The effect is really nice. Here's what you'll need: * A battery-operated LED tealight candle with a timer that turns on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours in a 24-hour cycle for indoor or outdoor use. You don't have to spend much, as even the cheapest ones work well (I bought a box of 24 for $12 online). You might need to adjust the setup depending on the model you find, which is not necessarily the one I used. For example, I used this Amazon product: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MDR8NGV/ref=pd_sbs_201_11 * A RGB LED: 5mm - Common Anode LED Clear (I used this product from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZXSD3JH) * One screw * Little wood support * Your favorite Christmas decorations * Red ribbon for the knot * Hot glue or normal glue The candle unit cost is around $0.90 to $1.
