XLR Helping Hands Soldering Jig Remix

3D printing newbie here! I stumbled upon this Soldering Helping Hands remix: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3709969 I took n6sxb's design and remixed it in Tinkercad to create a dual cable and connector holder, perfect for stereo pairs. Follow n6sxb's "Post Printing" tips for some light sanding if needed. A well-calibrated printer will produce perfectly fitting parts. To complete this project, you'll need: 2x 1/4-20 x 6" bolts 2x 1/4-20 nuts 2x 1/4" washers A large supply of #64 rubber bands Assemble the plates and rails as a spacer, but avoid over-tightening. If you print with PLA, be careful not to clamp onto metal contacts, or it will melt. According to some online posts, printing with ABS, PETG, or Nylon can withstand high temperatures, but I haven't tested this yet. To be safe, use an old female XLR insert to hold the male connector while soldering (check the last photo). I got lazy and wanted to add a contrasting "Don't Forget the Boot" text on the rails. Instead, I used a label maker for now.
