Xlights Mini Pixel Tree - Designed to be assembled with 20mm PVC electrical conduit with ~17mm internal diameter. Printing: 1 x Top Ring - no supports required - ~5 hours print time 0.2mm PETG Bottom inserts: 10 x inserts to be printed per tree - skirt required for good adhesion to printer bed. ~1 hour print time per insert 0.2mm PETG. Preparation : Cut your conduit - 10 x 600mm for tree vertical sections and 10 x 70mm for tree base. Assembly: Drill holes at desired spacing for your pixels - I spaced at 50mm starting from tree top which leave the last pixel ~100mm from the base - out of wet or snow etc. (10 pixels per 600mm conduit section) Insert all the 600mm vertical conduit sections onto the 3D printed tree top, then insert the 10 x base 3D prints onto the conduit. Now join up all the base sections with your 70mm conduit sections to form the base of the tree. Note: Internal diameter varies between conduit manufacturers some may need adjustment to enable interferance fit to printed diameter of finish parts -advise checking internal diameter of conduit to be used prior to printing - I used black PVC electrical conduit from 'Screwfix' - other suppliers of electrical conduit are available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6r1FwKEsNyk&t=1s
