XL4015E case

thingiverse

This box fits a XL4015E buck converter / voltage step down. For those of us stupid enough to buy the wrong buck converter, and poor enough to not bother buying again. Publishing here because I can't be the only one to have made bad decisions. The box is designed to be a one-way fitting, i.e. once it's on, it's not coming off... because there's no need for it to come off. To seal it up, simply mount the converter into the box, place the lid onto the box, ensuring a snug fit all the way round, then use a lighter / heat source to melt the tips of the rods and flatten them down onto the lid. WARNING: When you load this into Cura, it will say something like "object scaled to 10000000000% original size". Ignore this message. It's just a shapr3d bug. Printing: >20% infill, otherwise the lid is a bit too floppy
