XL4020 Power Supply ================================================= Based on DC/DC Stepdown Module (XL4020) from aliexpress Components used: - 1x XL4020 DCDC module - 1x MP1585 Mini DCDC module - 1x DSN VC289 - 4x Rubber feet - 12x M3x8x6 brass insert - 2x Variable resistors 11k - 2x Caps for variable resistors - 2x 5mm LED + Holders - 2x Terminals - 1x IEC-C15 w Fuse Socket - 1x AC Transformer 220 > 25v - 1x Bridge Rectifier - 1x 220v Switch - Some Wires... Screws m3, m2 18.05.19 Updated Case model: - Added ventilation holes on bottom - Little slided XL4020 holes to adjust location of module XL4020 board modification: - Replaced Input capacitor to "rubycon" brand. - Diode and Inductive coil replaced to handle currents over 3.5a. - Replaced Shunt 0.05ohm to two 0.1ohm cement resistors in parallel. - Replaced CC trimpod to variable resistor. - Add to CV trimpod in parallel 20k Variable resistor (NOT REMOVE Trimpod! its need to adjust shifting voltage). And here is problem! - All main parts of XL4020 module are overheating on currents over 1.5a. Even if use heatsink after some period of time PLA plastic is melting. Need active cooling or not use as high current source. Other problem: One Led indicator is CC indication and other 2 leds its related to charging abilities but not CV indication.
