The Smallest Pan-tilt Set Ever Printed: XL-RCP 14.0 HAWX EYE : Tiny Nano Camera Pan-tilt for #16. I Wanted a Small and Lightweight Pan-Tilt Camera Set to Mount on My Drone's Nose Without Affecting Its Center of Gravity for FPV Flight. It Needed to Offer Total Freedom from All Angles at Close Ground Proximity, Unobstructed by Cockpit Views or Wings. First, I Successfully Installed the Drifter Ultralight Plane with an #16 HD Camera Keychain via Pan-Only, Transmitting Live Video to a Wireless Feed and Simulating Realistic In-Cockpit Flight Experience Via My Phone App. But After Years of Smooth Flights, It Was Time for Me to Convert One of My Drifters into a High-Powered FPV Drone with Ground Tracking Capability. This Required an Extremely Agile Camera Pan-Tilt Set Able to Browse at Ultra-Low Angles for Spotting Discreet Movement Below Flight Levels. As Originally Designed, the XL-RCP 14.0 HAWX EYE Should Be Mounted Underneath My Plane's Nose, with Plenty of Clearance Above Ground Due to Landing Gear Height. Placing It Here Ensured a Clear, Unobstructed Scenic View Unlike Cockpit-Mounted Pan-Tilt Sets. I Also Decided This Set Could be Inverted for an Alternate Mounting Option - Inside the Plane Cockpit. However, Some Tinkering with Parts, Specifically the Tilt Arm and Lens Module, Would Be Needed.
