My brother recently acquired a sleek Jaguar XK40 and was facing a minor issue - he had lost the protective covers that shield the headlight washers. This marked a turning point in our search for the missing components, which eventually led us to find them. We were relieved to discover that they were still on the car, albeit temporarily displaced. To ensure their secure fitment, we applied a small amount of silicone adhesive, and to our surprise, they clipped into place with ease.
