This adapter plate mounts directly to the XJ470 Quadcopter Frame's mounting brackets, replacing the need for extra carbon plates and rails used in the original method. I found this approach heavy, unnecessary, and resulted in a gimbal position that was further forward than desired. To address this issue, I designed the plate to secure my Feiyu Tech Mini 3D gimbal directly to the mounting brackets at the front of the frame. The design should also fit Phantom-type gimbals due to their similar bolt patterns.
