xISTIx Bed Leveling Sensor
thingiverse
This is a bed leveling sensor prototype. The sensor has a pin that is touching the bed surface during measurement. It works with all print surfaces. I created this for my HyperCube 3D clone. The pin is moved up by a 9g servo when it is not in use. The downwards movement is solved by two repulsive magnets. The measurement is done with a Hall effect sensor, which is positioned in the hole of the slider. The slider has a magnet above the hole, and another one below the hole. As the slider moves the magnets are getting closer or further away from the Hall sensor.
