Xiegu X6100 Rubber Stand

Xiegu X6100 Rubber Stand

For more stability and convenience, I built some stands that fit into the backside of the X6100. It: * covers unneeded holes * covers the strange warranty sticker * holding it (as a walki talki) is easier * it makes the Xiegu feel much more rugged (although it won't be actually). Attaching: * Remove the small centered screws at the back-plate - but keep the backplate in place (to keep your warranty sticker undamaged) * Clip / fix the stands at the end and "snap in" the very small edge alongside the stand * Use a slightly longer screw incl. washer to fix it again (incl. backplate) Printing * STL can be used for top or bottom side * Print with TPU incl. supports (these should only be needed for clipping ends and for the screw hole) * Remove supports carefully - especially at the ends, otherwise the ends will stand a bit out If you're also interested in the small rubber feet for the legs, check "Xiegu X6100 Rubber Feet" in Thingiverse. It is recommended to use them anyway - for the right angle of the device with the rubber stands. Please note: You'll reduce the heatsink function of the case - since I mainly use the Xiegu for SWL, that's no problem for me. Use it at your own risk. 73 :-)
