Xiegu X6100 Fan Mount
thingiverse
This is a cooling fan back for the Xiegu X6100 radio. It uses a USB fan mounted in the back to cool the inside of the radio. I recommend using the Noctura NF-A4x10 5v USB fan. It draws only .07 amps and seems to work fine so far. I cut the cable and soldered it to the USB jack to make it shorter and to remove the big connectors. You can see this in the pictures below. Also notice I used a USB C to Hub. I used a 4 port hub but probably only needed 2 ports if one can be found because I only plug in the fan and a wireless keyboard that has a touch pad on it. **Important:** I had to scale up the part to make it fit my radio. I think the petg shrinks when it cools off when printing such a large part. On the other hand it could be my printer. I suggest you start printing with the mount that attaches the fan housing to the radio to see if it is a nice fit. You don't want it loose and have your batteries and fan fall off. Only the end caps of the radio hold it to the radio. No screws attach it to the radio.
