Xiegu G90 face cover/lid

This is a face cover or lid for the Xiegu G90 HF amateur radio transciever. It is made to be the most compact was of protecting the face of the g90, in the style of the cover that the Elecraft KX series have. I have made a few modifications to mine for SOTA (Summits On The Air) use, mostly to do with weight loss. Some of this is documented on my blog here: http://www.tobiasfeltus.com/blog/xiegu-g90-weight-loss-preparing-20w-for-sota-activations/ After making several versions of a faceplate with side "handles", etc. I came to one that I liked, and seemed to work. Then I found a CaseLogic CD/Walkman bag at a charity shop which fits the G90 really well, but it was a little too snug to slide the radio in with a jaggy square faceplate. So I made this lid. It works really well. I have used this on 3 successful activations, and find that it does its job well, protecting the radio in a soft case inside my backpack.
