I recently acquired a Xiaomi Mijia Smart Temperature & Humidity Sensor. To prevent having to affix it to a wall, I crafted this stand. The two upper holes are designed for inserting 2 strong 6x3mm or 6x4mm magnets. This allows the device to be placed on any surface and easily moved around. Since the sensor doesn't require wires (it's powered by a battery), placing it anywhere is now effortless.
