I modified a stevemedwin remix to make it shorter with round edges and add a TPU/TPE top layer. I used the same insert as this one: https://www.amazon.de/Sourcingmap%C2%AE-hautnetz-Metrisches-Gewinde-Einsatz/dp/B018503MX8. After gluing it in, I added the TPU part on top. The new version is designed to be used without any screws. The hole is snugly fitted to screw into a tripod, and there's a hole on the side for attaching the original strap to your wrist. A notable feature of the v2 is its place for a nut. To open it up, simply remove the silicone skin and take out the 4 screws.
