Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Stand
thingiverse
I built a scooter stand using leftover tubing from an old drying rack. It gets the scooter out of the way, and I'm pleased with how it's turned out. The design is still a work in progress - I haven't printed the base for the wheel yet, so I don't know how well it will work. My goal was to create a sturdy base that provides lateral stability and makes it easier to get the scooter off the hook. For now, I'm relying on a 2x4 taped to the floor and bookcase to hold everything in place. Alternatively, you could print another support and attach it to both sides of the handlebar for added stability. To protect the scooter's paint from damage, I applied some door foam to the hook. This should prevent the plastic and screw tails from scratching the surface. I'm happy with how this project has turned out, so far. If you'd like to take a closer look or try it out for yourself, I've included the FreeCAD files. Feel free to tinker with them and come up with any improvements you can think of - just be sure to share your results!
