Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Carpet Slider

Sometimes the Xiaomi Mi Vacuum struggles to clear the carpet edge. In my case, I've noticed that my carpet is approximately 1.5 cm thick with a sharp edge, causing difficulties for the vacuum to navigate over it. Upon inspection, I realized that the ground clearance of the Xiaomi Mi Vacuum is about 1 cm, and its wheels seem to lack sufficient grip in their lowest position. To resolve this issue, I designed small sliders, each measuring 0.7 cm thick, which can be attached to the bottom of the Xiaomi Mi Vacuum. By doing so, the vacuum slides smoothly over the carpet before the wheels reach the edge, allowing for a better angle and more traction. I've successfully added four sliders to my Xiaomi Mi Vacuum using double-sided carpet tape. It's essential to experiment with different numbers and positions of sliders to find the optimal solution for your specific carpet edge.
