The dock is spacious enough to accommodate your phone with a case on. Although the phone wobbles slightly without a case, it still functions perfectly. Keep in mind that depending on the dimensions of your USB-C plug, you might need to secure it with hot glue for a snug fit. However, I've tested various cables, and they all fit comfortably in the slot – just be sure to sand any rough edges with a small file if needed.
