The casing restricts the viewing angle to 120 degrees, allowing a 360-degree pan and tilt movement of the IP camera. The IP camera can freely rotate inside the cylindrical casing, but the cover will block the view when it's in place. I designed this custom casing to ensure my repurposed IP cam has an unobstructed line of sight directly at my 3D printer. To use this cover, you'll need to retain the original mounting plate. A separate mounting plate is included for installation on a rodded shelf; if you're mounting it elsewhere, you likely won't require this additional piece.
