Xiaomi M365 Bicycle Trailer Hitch/Adapter

This is a hitch I designed to fit the four available holes on the right side of the scooter underneath the fairing that covers the rear axle. Two of the holes in the scooter frame are already tapped with M3 machine screw threads, making them perfectly compatible with an M3 screw, while the other two slightly wider holes (maybe M4 holes?) need a little extra support to secure the piece firmly. Even though there are four screw points available, they might be unnecessary, and you may get away with just using the two outside ones. To assemble this hitch, you'll need four (or just two) M3 machine screws, each approximately 18 mm long, along with four (or just two) M3 washers. If you want to add some extra stability, you can also use an optional two M3 nuts. The hole at the top of the hitch measures 10 mm in diameter. While this might not be a universal size for bike trailers, it's perfect for the Petique pet stroller bicycle adapter that I designed this hitch for. Depending on your specific needs, the first part of the hitch may be all you need, but I've also included an extension to help raise the trailer arm mounting point (the 10 mm hole) to approximately 13 inches above the ground. This will keep your trailer level and stable, which is essential when towing a bike trailer designed for a 26-inch wheeled bicycle. The cool thing about this design is that it's versatile and will work whether you print just the first piece or both pieces together. The extension fits seamlessly into the geometry of the first part and uses two additional screw points to secure the connection. However, one drawback to this design is that it can be somewhat flimsy when torqued. To achieve maximum strength, I recommend printing this hitch out of PETG material.
