This is a custom mountplate for the Xiaomi Dafang IP camera. The mountplate screws onto a shelf or similar surface using four 3-4mm screws. I recommend positioning the camera upright to ensure optimal use. Inside the housing, all components are constructed from lightweight plastic parts. As with many Chinese-made products, quality is a concern; proceed with caution. The mountplate utilizes a short 1/4 inch UNC screw to secure the baseplate to the stand. For added stability, consider gluing the baseplate to the mountplate using double-sided tape.
