Recently I got into home automation and I'm loving every minute of it. I based my setup on Samsung's Smartthings Hub, which has an amazing community behind it. I recently added a sensor to my small freezer, and while it was a bit of a challenge to set up, the price was unbeatable compared to other sensors out there. This sensor tracks humidity, pressure, temperature, and even shows me how much battery life is left - it's really convenient! It takes some trial and error to get it connected with my system, but once I did, it worked flawlessly. As for design aspects, the sensor fits perfectly into its holder, giving me plenty of room to replace the battery without having to take it out. The holder also has a cutout to prevent accidental button presses and another cutout to protect the actual sensor. Plus, there's a strap setup that makes it easy to hang the sensor from the side of my freezer using magnets. Just be aware that this sensor isn't designed for use in ovens, grills, or smokers - it can melt with those high temperatures!
