When working with cymon on xiangqi pieces, a box idea emerged, featuring an embossed Chinese "xiangqi" top. The box fits snugly on a ToM HBP (116mm square). Thanks to cymon for the decorative touch! For easier printing, try thingiverse's option 10397 and set platform temperature at 110°C or higher. Close ToM windows to prevent corner curling. Adjust print outline in skeinforge to 0.5mm, peel before extrusion to avoid endstop issues. If printing to edges proves difficult, scale pieces down and adjust openscad file. The emboss was generated using an Illustrator export plugin. As is, the pieces might be loose; trim interior dimensions or increase height for a better fit. Corner curling could be due to heat sink effect of metal bolts on HBP platform, causing faster cooling and curling.
