XHover GapIt Mudflap (Arm/Motor Protector)
thingiverse
This is a motor protector specifically engineered for the XHover GapIt frame's arms. Dubbed a mudflap, it was designed to combat a frustrating issue: mud accumulation in motors resulting from rough landings and crashes. The mudflap snaps onto the arm with ease, eliminating the need to remove the motor itself. Its secure design has proven reliable, with none of them ever popping off during use. The mudflap is optimized for printing in TPU, which allows it to flex and conform to the arm's shape during installation. To achieve this flexibility, I print these parts at a 25% infill rate and a 0.2mm layer height.
