Pendula), a popular choice for garden and park decoration, is a deciduous broadleaf tree originating from Japan. It thrives in mixed forests with other Prunus species and requires a temperate climate. Blooming occurs in March-April, but the variety "Autumnalis" blooms in late Autumn (November-December).
