Laurel, an evergreen broadleaf tree native to the Mediterranean area, thrives in humid forests, along coasts, and on low hills in warm, mild, or temperate climates. In ancient times, it was sacred to Apollo; laurel twigs symbolized peace after victory and were used as crowns for victors. According to myth, the tree is what the nymph Daphne transformed into when avoiding Apollo's advances. Its aromatic leaves are utilized in various culinary recipes, but the plant is drought-intolerant. The three available models boast heights of 19, 8, and 3 meters respectively.
