Japanese Zelkova, a broadleaf evergreen tree, is native to Japan, China, and Korea. It thrives in environments with streams and moist soil, preferring temperate climates. These trees are often planted as substitutes for Elms due to their similarities in the Ulmaceae family. Japanese Zelkovas can grow into tall, impressive trees that don't require special care and are shade-tolerant. As they age, their bark changes from smooth to shaggy and rough. In Japan, it is also known as Keyaki. The included .XFR files allow for editing with Xfrog Software, and the tree models come in three sizes: 55cm Hokidachi (Model 1), 50cm Hokidachi (Model 2), and 98cm Gohon Yose (Model 3).
